When it comes to unprocessed raw hair, you have to care for your extensions just like your own natural hair. You need to shampoo and condition your hair regularly, especially if you use a lot of hair products. Deposits from the hair products, if not washed off on a regular basis, can degrade the quality of the hair (just like your own hair) and combined with the use of heat can affect the smooth natural feeling and behavior of the virgin hair. If you maintain your virgin Indian hair extension properly, you will have sleek, smooth, tangle free beautiful natural looking hair for a very long time and will be able the reuse the hair many times after.
Always oil the hair before washing and even after.
If you want to reap all the benefits from a pre-shampoo treatment, you can't just use any oil. You have to choose one that's able to penetrate hair, such as olive oil or coconut oil. Because they take time to do so, it is best to apply them 4 to 8 hours before washing your hair. If you wash it first thing in the morning, apply some coconut or olive oil on your locks before going to bed.If applied after shampoo, it creates a protective coat on hair that prevents water from evaporating, thus helping to keep it hydrated, soft, and healthy.
Combing your hair is necessary.
You should comb your hair regularly. Natural hair can be combed as often as you like but when fully wet and saturated with a conditioner. This also applies to those transitioning. Sections hair, use a wide tooth comb, start in the back of head and move forward. Detangling hair gently from ends and work your way up for best result. Keep a spray bottle handy to keep hair moist. This eases the process and minimizes breakage.
Detangling hair with you own fingers is considered the best.
If you are wearing a protective style, you may comb or detangle your hair with your fingers. Bottom line combing natural hair is done properly with fingers. This is the only way to eliminated shredded hair and to avoid raw hair from matting and locking.
Always comb or detangle your hair before and after sleep.
It is recommended that you comb your hair in the morning and night. Make sure your hair is always completely dry when you go to bed. Sleeping on wet hair can tangle your hair and over time may cause hair odor. As long as you never sleep on wet hair, there is nothing to worry about at night.
WHAT IS RAW HAIR?
Raw Hair is UNPROCESSED hair–exactly as it has been cut off from a donor. No chemicals like silicones have been added to the hair. When collected from the donor, the hair is thoroughly cleaned before it is then packaged and sent to you.
HOW LONG DOES THIS RAW HAIR LAST?
Raw Hair can last up to 5 years depending on how you care for it. This hair has been cut off from another human being so it will be missing some nutrients. This is when you will need to artificially feed it back all the nutrients it may be missing. Failure to do this will reduce the life span of your Raw Hair. We have a range of products specially formulated for Raw Hair.
WHAT DOES A SINGLE DONOR MEAN?
This means that each bundle of hair is collected from one person's head.
Where is Raw Hair Sourced from?
Our raw Indian human hair is sourced directly from India. We work directly with Raw Indian human hair factories who manufacture our hair. They are in control of production & the quality control from inspection all the way down to distribution. Once the hair reaches the factories for production the hair is sorted to help separate the different hair length & color. The hair is then washed & Double stitched into a weft & left to be inspected by the quality team to remove any nits, lice & gray hairs. The hair is then washed again & left to be sun dried then packaged to be dispatched.
HOW MANY BUNDLES DO I NEED?
2 bundles for lengths 8 -12;
3 bundles for lengths 12 – 20;
4 or more bundles for lengths 20 – 30.
Will My hair have Split Ends?
We all have dead ends last time I checked don't we? Split ends are Normal when dealing with Raw Indian human hair. Split ends will not tarnish the overall Quality of your investment. If you are worried about the ends of your hair consult with your hairstylist at the time of your appointment to have them clipped.
Does Raw Hair Shed ?
Shedding has every thing to do with the construction of the wefts. However shedding is a Given All hair sheds just like the hair from our scalp. Given that this hair is wefted fallen strands may occur. Excessive Shedding is NOT normal. Keeping mind your desired hair style can or may contribute to shedding if your wefts have been cut during the styling Process. To protect your hair from shedding the flip over method is commonly done to avoid little to no shedding.
Does your company offer grade Hair (9a,10a) ?
There is no such thing as a grading system when you are purchasing Hair from me. Grading systems such as Grade 9A & 10A are tactics that are used by Chinese Factories for marketing. They use this grading as a description to classify the quality of their hair. raw Indian human hair will only be available for purchase in 3 natural textures natural straight, natural wavy & natural curly period.
CAN THE HAIR BE COLORED/BLEACHED/DYED?
Raw hair can be colored/bleached/dyed but we suggest you hire a professional to do this and if you choose to do it yourself, please use the best quality hair coloring products or purchase our already colored Raw Hair.
When should I book a hair appointment?
We strongly advise you to book your hair appointment with your hair stylist after you receive your hair . Just in case there may be a delay with your order.

WHEN TO REFUSE YOUR PACKAGE!
If the package is evenly flat, deflated, or seems hollow, please refuse the package. We only ship to confirmed addresses. If the shipping address is not the same as the billing address connected with you ATM/Debit/Credit/Checking Account it will not confirm. Shipping both domestic and internationally may take up to 7-14 business days.
You may incur additional charges via international custom charging policy. You are responsible for these charges whereas Shay Beauty Collection shipping cost covers only the importation of your order into your country.

Please be aware that for security reasons, Shay Beauty Collection does not allow customers to change their address after an order is placed.
If you can no longer receive your order at the address submitted (or if the address is invalid), Shay Beauty Collection shipping policy requires customers to cancel the order up to 24 hours after the order has been placed (minus a $10 cancellation fee). Then you can place a new order with a valid shipping address in order to ensure your order is delivered to the correct address.

If you believe that you have received defective merchandise, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your order and it is our sole discretion to determine fault and proper course of action. All Hair must be in its natural state meaning no dye, chemicals, alterations, washing, combing, brushing, or unravel and cutting of the weft (unused and unworn).
You are allowed to exchange hair within 3 days from receipt of order for a new bundle, frontal, or closure of equal or lesser value with our approval and at our sole discretion. All customers have up to 24 hours to cancel their order if items have not already been processed and shipped. Each cancelled order will be fully refunded along with the shipping charge, minus a $10 cancellation fee.
